It's been over ten years now that renowned Canadian filmmaker Matt Charland has been sharing his vision of the world through his lens. Self-taught, versatile, adventurous, and above all passionate, Matt captures images that transport and move us. His ability to always bring humanity to the forefront of his projects, along with his great sensitivity, makes him a unique artist who masters the art of authenticity and storytelling.
That being said, Matt’s story doesn’t stop there…Matt is also a father of two and an entrepreneur who invests in his local community with projects such as Café Apollo and Crèmerie Sammy’s in downtown Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré (QC), which he co-founded with his partner Gabrielle and friends.

Welcome to Studio Allo Bloom, Matt’s newest project. A thrilling workspace and an artist's dream den! Studio Allo Bloom aims to be a creative space, a laboratory for experimenting with ideas and collaborating with other artists. With a focus on photography, art direction, production and, why not, events, the studio is open to artistic projects of all kinds. Still a work in progress, but we are open to ideas!
